This is not a lake. These pictures were taken during the great spring flood upon the River Emajõgi. Most of what you see covered with water are indeed plains and meadows around the river. Some of the small "bushes" are actually old, tall trees.
These pictures were taken between 6-8 o'clock in the morning from aboard a replica (somewhat) of an ancient barge.
