:wow: I used to live very near Hampton Court as a child ~ it used to be free to get into the gardens and I spent SO MUCH time there and became obsessed with Anne Boleyn. How lovely to see some gorgeous photos of it ~ I haven't been there for about 30 years ... :rose:

Quite some. Unfortunately the first and second world wars were hard on our country - as was the Soviet Union, tearing down too many buildings, but we've still got hundreds of mansions (from ruins to top notch renovated buildings), quite some big castles and well... round where I live, half of the town's regular buildings are more than 100 years old.
